(Before working with Shannon) I lacked confidence and was undercharging in most areas of my business. As a new business owner, I wasn't used to being the boss, the project manager, and the worker. There are so many things that need to be done, like building a website and ordering business cards, and I was struggling to prioritize things and stay organized.
(After working with Shannon) I raised my prices and I'm still getting hired! I also have a beautiful website, business cards and other collateral, and a complete visual identity - none of which I had before. Because of Shannon, I am able to look at my business and figure out where my time/money/efforts should go, and where they shouldn't. I think I was focusing a lot of energy into areas that weren't going to benefit my business.
As a business owner, it can be easy to take things personally, but you can't do that. Shannon is incredibly kind and compassionate, but there are times when she may say things you don't want to hear. You need to be open to constructive feedback and willing to make changes.
